The Bulleit family has been making bourbon for generations. This
beautiful bourbon is aged for 6 years; delivering a distinctive
rye tang with a smooth, mellow flavour, hints of vanilla and honey,
and a l-o-n-g smoky finish. And if you let it linger on the palate
for just that little bit longer, you'll be able to taste a hint
of spice, apple, and orange peel as well.
Originally produced 150 years ago by Augustus Bulleit, the recipe
was rediscovered by his great, great grandson, Thomas E. Bulleit
Jnr in 1987.
This truly is World Champion Bourbon, taking a gold medal in the
San Francisco World Spirits competition in 2004.
